In a bit of a marketing coup, I got e pluribus haiku anthology to be rated #8 for Japanese Poetry & Haiku (https://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/digital-text/7588868011), but you have to look fast, these things will change maybe two or three times a day. This is haiku, and it's digital; my paperback ratings will take a while before they do that well. But if you follow the links, you will see my pride and joy, a book of 3487 haiku.

One gets a marketing coup briefly by getting several people to download it and read it at the same time. Ordinarily I do it one at a time, and then I get a pretty good rating that disappears quickly. If several are downloading it close to each other, you get a slightly better rating that disappears a little less quickly. By the time you're reading this, it's probably still a pretty good rating, at least for me. I've never had #1, though it got #1 in Britain once.

The secret to getting people to read your haiku is, get to know them and if they like you, and you put it in front of them, they won't say no even if haiku is not their favorite thing. I say this because for most people, haiku is not their favorite thing. I could have this book right out in the open for a while, and lots of people would see it, and not download it. But it's really an amazing book and I'm proud of it.

Look down into this site for some samples from the early days of writing haiku that has season clues, and geographical clues. All linked. And in some kind of order, though many of the links are dead here and will probably not be upgraded. Look at it as a kind of e pluribus haiku online museum.

Thank you!
